“OK if you want a small bowl, Made in UK – it’s like a Tardis, really!, DECENT DEPTH NOT THAT WIDE THOUGH”
Smaller than i thought price was good.
Smaller than expected but good value.
Made in uk – it’s like a tardis, really. Imperial measurements (interior):square – 10 inchesdiagonal – 13 inchesdepth – 6 inchesi use my washing up basin on the worktop so i can put the soapy dishes in the sink for rinsing – one of these days the old single basin sink will be replaced with a double basin unit but for now i use a washing up basin and it was past time to replace the old huge round one. I wanted something colourful for the replacement and after checking the measurements, ordered this. When it arrived yesterday my husband and i both were disappointed when we saw how small this basin looks – i even got the tape back out to check i’d got what i ordered (see the product description for the cm measurements). I was ready to order the 39cm one but decided to give this a go first. For something that looks so small, and takes up so very little space on the worktop, this little fellow does an amazing job of getting the washing up done. The only thing i couldn’t fit in it were my dehydrator racks – everything else from the roasting pan and cover to the large baking tins and full sized crockery easily went right into the basin for washing up. I did have to turn the baking sheets diagonally but hey – my now retired old large round addis basin didn’t fit those items at all – i had to dip a corner and scrub upwards – lots of splashing and i was really tired of that. Not a problem to this little wham basin – i was quite surprised to find no splashing required – all the dishwater stayed in the basin.
