Sprinkler colours just brilliant.
I was really excited by the prospect of receiving this funky looking tap with its colourful water flow which, as well as looking pretty, i thought would reduce the chances of accidental scalding (i am disabled and have had some previous near misses). Delays to the build of my new kitchen extension meant that, although purchased back in june, it was not fitted until towards the end of october at which point it was discovered the plastic piece on the end of the extending tap arm was damaged, causing the water to squirt out horizontally. And so, for the first time (in my considerable amazon purchasing history) i have had to refer to the supplier which i have done via amazon. To be fair, hst mall were swift to respond and said they would send me a replacement part but told me that as it was out of stock, it would take 3 weeks. By the end of november the part had not arrived so i had to go back to hst mall who responded immediately again and were very apologetic, offered a small compensatory sum and said they would get the part re-issued. What they forgot to say was that it would take another 3 weeks to arrive (presumably they do not stock any parts for this tap necessitating application to hapilife each time), which turned out to be longer with christmas in the way. And so, i have only just received it. It was a little fiddly (with fingers) to fit so a friend did it for me and, hey presto, there was a great, vertical stream of water. We waited with bated breath for the colours to appear but were sorely disappointed.
Just love this multiway tap. I love this tap, it’s flexible; swivels with both arms, you have the sprung flexible arm with the spray head, great for rinsing down the drainer or spraying big pans that overhang the sink, and a fixed spout on the other, you can have both in use at the same time and the little twist in the tale is the colour changing lamp in the spray head so you can see when the water is cold, warm or hot without even testing it, appeals to my love of gadgets. The only extra facility i would like is the pull-out hose i had on my last tap but that didn’t have all the other things.

“Just love this multiway tap, Perfect for two basin kitchens!, It is very good and worth for the money”
Perfect for two basin kitchens. After our b and q kitchen sink broke i was convinced i wasn’t going to spend so much on a tap that would only last 4 years again. The b and q one we had a springy neck similar to this one found that this feature was really useful when washing pots and pans, even plates – the pressure that comes from the nozzle on these types of taps is really good. It was my father who likes his taps to be colour coded, – ie. Blue for cold and red for hot so when i found this kitchen tap that needed no batteries to get this feature i was almost already sold. It was the feature of the second tap that really impressed me. We have two basins which are set up side by side and this tap allow us to have one tap in each basin. It makes washing up a breeze and the pressure you get from the springy neck tap is really good as you can turn off the additional tap – you can use both taps at the same time of individually. I still was a bit weary of ordering this but the price difference, i paid £200 for the b and q tap and the guarantee made this worth the risk. In the uk we have hot water on the left and cold on the right. This tap is set up the other way around. You could plumb this the other way so that it matches the colours on the tap but we decided to keep this hot on the left and cold on the right so that it is uniform with the rest of the house. The tap doesn’t wobble and wasn’t that difficult to fit. I would still recommend you ask an experienced plumber if you weren’t confident in fitting it.
