The drinking water does taste better and we are very pleased with the purchase. The tap has been fitted for over 4 months and no problems have been received. The drinking water does taste better and we are very pleased with the purchase. The filter does not take up to much room. We also had a brita kettle, but now no lnger need to use the filter cartridges on the kettle. The water does taste better especially in a hard water area.
Good overall product and good price for what it delivers. Good overall product and good price for what it delivers, britta filter tap started leaking after about a year which is a bit disappointing but overall happy with it and it replaced old tap easily.
You’ll need a large space under your sink to fit this tap (which is pretty straight forward for anyone with a bit of basic d. You may need to cut out a hole in any shelf to accommodate the filter system. I live in the nw of england and our water doesn’t suffer from calcium deposits so i wasn’t expecting much from filtering it through the brita tap. . On a side by side comparison of filtered and tap water (some tested by friends and family) the overall opinion was the filtered water did taste better; ‘crispier’, ‘cleaner’, fresher’ were common comments. Bear in mind this tap dispenses normal tap water which by-passes (and extends the life of) the filtration system, so you only use the filtered water when you chose to. The tap itself looks good and the one touch levers make it very easy to dispense water so are good for anyone with grip problems when turning ‘normal’ taps. My only concern was the cost of the replacement filters.
- Not as high of quality as expected
- Much Better Than A Jug
- Great tap, price and service!
Its great i would recommend it. Really pleased with this tap. It has replaced my old kitchen sink tap and a separate filter tap. Easy to fit and it’s so easy to change the filter.
Does not work properly with water softeners. I bought this thinking i could have filtered hard water and both hot and cold soft water. Due to the bizarre configuration of the inlets on the tap this is not possible. This is not written on the box but to, be fair, they did tell me when they called up to organise the installation. However, if you have a water softener do not buy this tap – buy one of the wd3020, wd3030 etc.

Not as high of quality as expected. Really happy with this item. With the pressure of our cold water, our previous tap used to splash all over the worktop and drive me insane. The brita tap, with the pressure untouched, does not splash all over the tops and comes out aerated which looks good. Our hot water feed has died a death though. Apparently the tube is narrower and allows less up (i don’t do the plumbing so i can’t comment more). The water filter tap is great. Such a novelty at the minute.
I got this tap as a replacement for a very modern, square tap that cost a fortune but would not sit right on my sink. The fact that it is a water filter whilst nice was not my primary interest as i live in a very soft water area so do not filter my water. The tap came in a huge box, with lots of instructions, everything you need to fit it and even came with an installation voucher – i rang brita and a week later they sent a plumber out to fit it for free. The tap is super heavy, very solid and feels so much more substantial than my previous one (which was more expensive). It looks great, has really smooth motion and comes with a countdown timer to let you know when to change the filter. My kids are impressed that they can have filtered water and having done a few taste tests i can tell the difference between the filtered and non filtered water. A great tap – only downside i can see is that the replacement filters are expensive, but as i live in a soft water area and will not use it that frequently i don’t intend to replace them as frequently.
